"I think it's great that the foundation is set up to make it easier for donors to connect with students. The help I have received has been phenomenal. Thank you again."

Supporting Anacortes Schools and Students Since 1984!

The Anacortes Schools Foundation is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) volunteer organization which functions independently of the school district for the benefit of our students, educators, and community.

Created from just one family's donation in 1984, ASF  now manages more than $1.3 million in assets and distributes more than $60,000 in annual scholarships. Originally known as the Fidalgo Island Educational Youth Foundation, Anacortes Schools Foundation's mission is to:

  • Grant scholarship awards to students
  • Assist educators in their professional development
  • Support educational programs in the Anacortes School District

The ASF believes passionately in the importance of community awareness and involvement in our schools. We sponsor the annual All-Class Reunion and the annual Awards Night where scholarships are presented to our selected students. We welcome students, parents, alumni and community members of all ages to make inquiries at any time. If you would like to know more, please contact us now!
