“Without people like you, college would not be a possibility. I am proud to be given this chance to fulfill my dreams. Thank you.” - Richard Reeves, Richard Bliss White Memorial Scholarship 2004 Recipient

The mission of the Anacortes Schools Foundation is to foster excellence in education by supporting our local schools. ASF was formed in 1984 for the purpose of granting scholarships and awards to students, supporting educators seeking professional development, and assisting with projects that support programs in the school district.

ASF administers more than twenty scholarship funds with a principal of $1.1 million. Since 1984, students and educators in our community have received more than $358,000 in scholarships. Over the last four years, the number and dollar amount of scholarships awarded from ASF endowment funds have increased sharply.
