The process is simple: complete all portions of the General Scholarship Application or any of the other three specific applications.

Information needed for the application: resume that includes: school activities, awards, community involvement, volunteer activities, and employment history. SAT and/or ACT score, a copy of your high school transcript, including the classes in which you are currently enrolled,  projected annual cost of your school, and EFC (Expected family Contribution) from your filed FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). A personal reflective essay.

• ASF Scholarship Application General Information
  Download and print this short guide to the application process.
• Anacortes Schools Foundation General Application
  Use this application form for most scholarships. You do not need to specify the scholarship for which you are applying. You will be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible.

• Friends of the Forest Scholarship Application
  Use this application form if you are a graduating senior or a current college student and plan to pursue a degree related to the outdoors, environment, conservation or nature.

• Greg Horak Memorial Scholarship Application
  Use this application form if you are a graduating senior and your accomplishments reflect a concern for others and a spirit of self reliance.

• Lynn Dragovich Memorial Music Scholarship Application
  Use this application form if you plan to major in music.

Please return completed applications to the AHS Counseling Office no later than 4pm on April 1, 2011.

Scholarship recipients will be notified in mid May and all recipients are expected to attend the ceremony on May 25, 2011 to receive their awards.
