Criteria

  • Graduating senior attending 4 year college
  • Top 10% of class
  • Major in basic science or health science
  • Financial Need

Background

As members of our Anacortes community, the Brar family believes strongly in the importance of supporting and promoting the educational dreams of Anacortes students so that they have the chance to develop a rewarding career. Because the escalating cost of tuition has made it increasingly difficult for young students to attend a post secondary institution, the family has established this Brar Science Scholarship. Our hope is that the financial assistance will help make it possible for a graduating Anacortes High School  student with a record of exemplary academic merit to pursue his or her dream of a science or healthcare profession.
