Philip L. Roberts was a retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer in aviation electronics. He served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He attended navy schools at Oklahoma A&M and Columbia University in New York. His assignments took him to the U.S. Navy missions in Lima, Peru; U.S. Naval attaché' offices in New Delhi, India; to Japan, Korea and many bases in the states. He retired after 24 years service in 1966. In 1947 he was assigned to a squadron at Whidbey Island-found Anacortes and called it home no matter where he was traveling. Criteria:
