Awesome August

Hot off the press this month is our annual report, which relays how our donors impacted students and programs in the 2024-25 school year.

And it wouldn’t be August without the best back to school event this side of the Mississippi: our Ready to Learn Fair. To make this happen, we rely on our loyal (and brand new) volunteers, including some very strong and dedicated student helpers, who work tirelessly all week setting up the high school for the fair. Once set up, we rely on our awesome (see? Awesome August continues) community partners to share their resources with families who attend the fair. And we couldn’t do any of it without our incredible sponsors and donors who continue to make sure students feel confident when they return to school in September.

Summer isn’t over, so soak up the sun, enjoy our forestlands and beaches, indulge in pleasure reading and ice cream, and know that when school starts, ASF will be supporting many of the field trips, adventures and enrichment learning your students will experience this year.
