These STEM scholarships are established by The American Association of University Women (AAUW).
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) empowers women and girls through research, education, and advocacy. Our priorities are fighting for fair pay and economic equity, removing bias from education, and advancing women in leadership. Reducing barriers in STEM is a step toward advancing gender equity and increasing America’s global competitiveness. The Anacortes branch was founded in 1956, and to-date has funded over $200,000 in scholarships to local women.
